Default Is John Wall a clear-cut number 1?

Assuming John Wall decides to go one-and-done in mens college basketball, is he the clear-cut number one overall pick in next year's NBA draft? If not, who are the other choices. I know this guy is a phenomenal player, but there always seems to be some guy that raises to the top near draft time.

I think he is pretty clear cut expecially with the recent success of the early PG's that have been taken in the previous drafts.

Probably, this guy is going to be a stud in the NBA.

Yes, he's going to be a stud, but are there any other players that will give him a run for number one? I know there was a special foreign player out there who was supposed to be the next Dirk Nowitzki, but I'm not sure when or if he is going to the NBA.

He has to go #1, I honestly feel that he could start at PG for alot of NBA teams right now!

Donatas Motiejunas is who I think your talking about? He's a bad ass but I think the NBA is still a little scared on drafting foreign guys 1st.

I would say he's clear cut. He's shown that the hype for him is correct. He's so elusive, smart, and has all the potential in the world to become an absolutely ELITE PG. I'm talking a top 3 PG in the game right now. I see big things for him.

As long as he doesn't get injured I think it's clear he's going #1.

I second this... There is no way if he is healthy and comes out that whoever is #1 is taking him.

I think it depends on the team that gets the pick to be honest, lets say a team like the hornets makes out like bandits in the lotto I dont see them taking him. I mean he is easilly the best talent, but teams draft on need quite often.

I see him wearing an Nets jersey if they do select him for the 1st pick, but I would love to see somewhere else he would enjoy. Don't wanna also see some drama like Rubio in the 2009 Draft.

Agreed. If they don't need him, they won't draft him.

Nope, if they got the first Henry would probably go.
A lot of people ignore Xavier Henry and his stats because Wall is more flashy with his scoring. But fact is Henry is just as productive as Wall but does it in less minutes and with three times the amount of talent on his team.
I personally think Henry is already built for the NBA as well and his position versatility could be a major plus.

I've always been a big fan of Henry. He is said to be the poor man's LBJ.

I really think he has a great skill set and he is doing amazing on a star filled Kansas team.

I'd honestly draft Henry over Wall regardless.
